The term 'people of color' refers to individuals who are not considered 'white'. This term originated in the United States and has been adopted in other parts of the Anglosphere, including the UK, Canada, Australia, Ireland, and South Africa. It encompasses Black, Indigenous, and other communities of color. The term is often used to acknowledge and address the unique experiences and challenges faced by these groups.
