Coming Into Yourself
From Made It Out
In this episode, Mal sits down with Leyla Ebrahimi to talk about how her identity (both cultural and queer) has shaped her music from the inside out. We get into what it was like growing up Persian-American and navigating the expectations that came with it. Leyla also shares how coming out added another layer to understanding who she is.
